The hotel is situated in an antique villa dating from the 19th century, that used to house the British consulate in the years when Florence was the capitol of Italy. The hotel is placed in a tranquil street in the centre of Florence, ten minutes walk from the Dome and 15 minutes from Fortezza da Basso, Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria.
